NO ONE CAN STOP ME cover.jpg

To put it as Jim Morrison did...

“For the music is your special friend
Dance on fire as it intends…
  Music is your only friend…
  Until the end… until the end… Until the… End…”

Music and travel have always been very important in my life. I was lucky to be able to meet with the people, the culture and visions of several American Indian nations. For me that was the fastest and easiest way to connect with myself. It was on one of those trips in Peru that my teacher, Loup Blanc, named me Black Hawk. Working with him in the amazon forest, I became acquainted with medicinal and visionary concoctions of local plants used by the shamans. These experiences inspired me later in the lyrics of my songs. After several years of experiencing shamanic trance music and the more traditional ethnic music I came back to Classic Rock.

Initially, it was rock music that inspired me to travel and to experience more. Since I was 11 years old, music has been like a refuge to me.
It was one of my brothers that gave me a guitar and learned me some chords. One thing led to another and here I am…
Guys like The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon and many others made me dream of more and bigger… Of open spaces and freedom. Later on my own experiences kicked in and made me the person that I am today. Ready to share my art with you all.
I believe that art needs to be shared in order to exist. You could ask yourself, if music is not heard, is it then really music..? I don’t think so… Music is a way of expressing, of sharing and connecting… Of dreaming the same dream and surfing the same waves. Music is like travelling, like exploring… It is something that cannot be owned, it just happens… It is alive and it is free.

And of course there where many authors like Carlos Castaneda, poets like John Trudell and people like Crazy Horse, Red Cloud or Geronimo that inspired me to live life all the way.
As I put it in one of my songs, “Don't you tell me how to live and how to die, I will do it my way.”
And that is exactly what I did. My music, my lyrics and artworks reflect life as I see it, and therefore how I experience it. It is how I like to share my story with like-minded people, hoping maybe to inspire some, to comfort others like I have been comforted as well by listening to the music and stories of others…

Enjoy it, live it, share it…
